Blog #166 Stressed Out? A Little Appreciation Will Change Your Life!
We all are stressed out with all that is going on in the world. It is a good time to stay grounded and nice and neutral and seeing things with lots of amusement, and knowing everything is in Divine Order even though it doesn’t feel that way.
Years ago studying and practicing Buddhism, my teacher said, “The most important thing to create a happy life is practicing being grateful for everything in your life, the good and the seemingly bad. Everything is a gift and a lesson for our enlightenment.”
I love how my teacher Michael Tamura would often say “Everything in life is a learning opportunity-it is a choice how we respond!”
Some things that I find that make it easy to have appreciation:
-When I wake up and saying hello first thing, to God and the Holy Spirit and the ALL. Being grateful for a beautiful night sleep and the astral travels that night.
-Meditating each morning to communicate with my guides and set an intention for the day, often writing in my journal. This allows me not to be overwhelmed by the circus going on out in the world and stay focused on love, peace and joy as we create our day.
-Great to keep a Thank you/Miracle jar where you can put notes of all the big and little miracles that we are so grateful for that day. Then read them at the end of the week, month or year to validate all that is manifesting in our life.
-Saying thank you to the food I have prepared for my family and my pets
-Create one day a week to say thank you all day long to everything that comes along, starting with our body, bed, shower, playing with puppies and kitties, meditating for an hour…by the end of the day your mood will have totally changed to be happier and be more positive. It is what we focus on!
-Communicate for a few minutes to ground yourself and see what your Spirit Guides and God-Self are guiding you to your next steps
-Take time to validate yourself for all you are learning and how much you have grown.
- Validate yourself for all you are doing for the world as a powerful Light Worker holding focused on Love and Peace.
-Enjoy little breaks to play with your pets or watch the clouds or sit in the sun, it always fills me with joy.
