Blog #169 Life’s Incredible Surprises!

The vast number of daily miracles that show up so easily and effortlessly is incredible. Being so grateful life is in a Divine flow of love, joy and miracles, growth and adventure. This life is such a blessing and an amazing school of learning and awakening if we only stay awake and be aware.

It is time to give ourselves a break and enjoy and breathe in the little things that happen. As the saying goes “Stop and smell the roses often” and you’ll experience the colors, leaves, stems, and the bees, lady bugs and butterflies stopping by. Experience the glorious fragrance of the roses and softness of the pedals, but especially the artistry of God’s creation. Everyone and everything on our planet Earth is a part of this divine design.

The more present we are, the more we allow ourselves to harvest that awesome creative power that we have. Being grounded to the center of the Earth and centered in our beingness, we can take it all in and experience the spirit we are in this human body. We are ALL One, limitless, eternal, powerful, loving, and joyous beings here to share our gifts with one another, nature and the world.

I love keeping a Miracle Jar and writing down all the miracles that happen every day, large and small. My Miracle Jar is already over flowing and it is only July. That I need to get a bigger jar is an awesome thing! Being in a state of joy and gratitude, most of whatever I am choosing to create, just flows in or shows up.

Like watering this week out in my backyard with the hose, a beautiful blessing of a sweet rufous colored Hummingbird stayed in the mist of my hose taking a shower for an amazing 3-4 minutes. Then coming close to say a sweet hello and thank you, what a gift in my day!

Officiating at a dear friend’s wedding in La Jolla a few years ago, I was driving on the freeway and got a flat tire. It’s a little scary when that happens on the freeway.  But right as I was pulling off to the side of the road, to my amazement, an AAA truck pulled up right behind me and I hadn’t even called them yet. The nice gentleman came up to my car and said “Looks like I am here just at the right time”!

He called it in for me and changed my tire in about five minutes flat. HA!  So very thankful, I even arrived to the wedding ceremony early. Here was another fantastic one for my Miracle Jar.

Awhile back sitting on my back patio relaxing writing in my journal, a spectacular Red tail Hawk landed on the fence near me and just hung out for a long while looking at me. Hawks are known as the messengers of God, so I asked him telepathically if he had a message for me, and it was like he smiled. Then I felt a sense of protection from him like he is watching out for me and our home. Finally as he flew off one of his feathers floated onto the chair beside me, leaving me his sweet feather as a gift. It felt like a thank you. Life is filled with so many surprises and miracles! I named him Flame!

Grounding yourself in the morning to the center of the Earth and being in the center of your head allows us to be more awake and aware of all the incredible surprises that come along!

Notice all the miracles you are creating as the spectacular Spirit that you are!
